July Garden Tours & Workshops

Join us for a day of summer inspiration as we tour two beautiful dahlia gardens and gather for lunch, learning, and fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to see midseason dahlia growth, ask questions, and learn from experienced growers and educators.

Schedule of Events

Stop #1: Worley Flower Farm - 2682 New Leicester Highway, Leicester, NC 28748

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Tour the working flower fields of Worley Flower Farm & Market, where dahlias thrive alongside other cut flowers.

 Stop #2: Debbie McElreath’s Garden & Workshops
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Enjoy lunch and tour Debbie’s personal dahlia beds, followed by two interactive workshops:

• Beekeeping 101 with Ralph Harlan
  Learn how bees support bloom production and what it takes to maintain a healthy hive.

• Dahlia Bouquet Design with Sandra Leskauskas & April Morley
  Explore harvesting techniques, vase life tips, and how to create stunning, seasonal arrangements.

Please bring a chair for the lunch & garden portion at Debbie’s, as outdoor seating is limited.
