About Us – Carolinas Dahlia SocietyFounded in 1986, the Carolinas Dahlia Society is dedicated to fostering a love for dahlias through education, community engagement, and excellence in cultivation. As a nonprofit organization, we bring together dahlia enthusiasts across North and South Carolina to share knowledge, preserve dahlia heritage, and promote best growing practices. Over the years, we have grown to over 100 members and are proud to host one of the largest dahlia shows in the Southern region, showcasing the beauty and diversity of these incredible flowers. Our members range from backyard gardeners to seasoned exhibitors, all united by a passion for dahlias. Through hands-on workshops, garden tours, mentorship programs, and our annual dahlia show, we provide opportunities to learn, grow, and connect. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced grower, the Carolinas Dahlia Society welcomes you to join our thriving community, discover new varieties, and celebrate the beauty of dahlias with us! |
