A tip and helpful hint
It will be time to plant before you know it. If you have tubers you are unsure about whether they have eyes or not or they are just a slow variety.
- Put them in a sandwich type bag with a little potting soil
- Place them in a consistently warm area of around seventy degrees…
- Make sure you leave the bag slightly open.
- Watch for a few weeks.
- If you haven’t seen any sign of life in two to three weeks go ahead and cry and toss the tuber in the compost
Arch W Painter says he reserves one large garden pot for eyeless tubers. I bury them about two inches under soil and walk away. If anything grows, I carefully remove and transplant it.
